Michael Keeney
Minister
Mike came to Calvary in the summer of 2008. Previously he has ministered in two churches in Michigan. He also directed Spiritual Care with Hospice Of Michigan
Mike has attended Michigan State University, Lansing Community College, Great Lakes Christian College, Pine Rest Christian Hospital CPE Program, and Cincinnati Bible Seminary. He also completed an apprenticeship program at Motor Wheel Corporation and is a Journeyman Millwright.
He was ordained to the Christian Ministry in 1978 at the Vestaburg Church of Christ in Vestaburg, Michigan. He has 400 hours of Clinical Pastoral Education. And is a Licensed, Prepare/Enrich Counselor (Marriage, Youth, Family).
He has authored several hospice related articles and books including “Signs and Symptoms” a guide for patients and their families. He has been published in the Christian Standard, wrote several Sunday school studies and a weekly column for the Community Voice in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan
Mike has served on numerous boards and committees, including: The board of directors for the Chippewa County Home Health Advisory Board. Sault Ministers Association, War Memorial Hospital Ethics Board, Community Assessment Board, and Habitat For Humanity Board. And has coached Wrestling, Swimming, and football.
Mike has been married since 1973 to Mary Ann. They have three children, (Michael Jr. Laura and Andrew). Mike and Mary Ann also have two granddaughters, Emily and Megan.
In his spare time Mike enjoys reading, painting, history, genealogy, writing, and golf

Todd Murphy
Minister
Todd has been married for 19 years to his beautiful wife, Donna and has 4 amazing children. Amy 16, Katie 13, Michael 9, and Caleb 7. He has been in the Ministry for 12 years. He has an Associates Degree in Christian Education and a Bachelors Degree in Sacred literature from Louisville Bible College, Louisville Ky. He is very excited to be in Northern Virginia and to be a Minister at Calvary.

Melissa
Woodruff
Director of Children's Ministry
Melissa has served as Director of Children’s Ministry at Calvary Christian
Church since November 2006. She and her husband, Dave, became members at Calvary
in 1999.
She graduated from Marshall University in 1987 with a BS is Business Administration.
Before becoming a full-time mom, Melissa worked at the Coast Guard in Information
Technology for nearly 16 years.
Melissa says, “Nothing gives me more joy than serving the Lord through
working with the children at Calvary. My desire is to partner with parents to
insure our children have a firm foundation in the Gospel and help them mature
in their relation with Christ. Our careful and prayerful selection of programs
provides a fun, safe, and Christ focused environment.”
Melissa and her husband have two sons. They live in Fairfax Station where they
enjoy spending time together and with their pets.
